When am I charged?+
Monthly policies bill on your effective date each month. Annual policies bill the day of the renewal. You can switch cadence under Account → Billing.
What happens if a payment fails?+
We retry the next business day, then again 3 days later. After two failed attempts we send a notice + 10-day grace period. Coverage stays active during the grace window.
How do I switch payment methods?+
Account → Billing → "Update payment method." We accept Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover, and ACH bank transfer. ACH saves ~$0.30/mo in processing fees.
How are refunds processed?+
Cancellations are pro-rated to the day. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. ACH refunds take 7-10 days.
Can I change my deductible mid-term?+
Yes. Raising your deductible can lower your premium immediately; the difference is credited to your account. Lowering is also fine but takes effect at the next renewal.
Do you offer paperless billing?+
It’s the default. PDFs of every invoice live under Account → Billing → Invoices.
