Are pre-existing conditions covered?+
Not at enrollment. After 6 months without symptoms of a curable condition (e.g. infections, hot spots), we'll cover it as new. Chronic pre-existing conditions are excluded for the life of the policy.
How does the deductible work?+
Annual, not per-condition. Once you hit your deductible ($100-$1000 your choice) you're reimbursed for everything else for the rest of the policy year at 70/80/90% based on your tier.
Is there a waiting period?+
14 days for illness, 2 days for accidents. We disclose this on every quote so you can plan when to enroll.
